Academic Support
UTAS has a pretty comprehensive Learning Support area, which is a great place to start for help in areas like:
- developing skills, like writing in English or in a specific academic style
- assignment feedback
- critical thinking
- academic reading
- referencing
- study load or pathways, and
- much more.
Check it out here, and if you can’t find what you are looking for, can’t figure it out and need help understanding, or aren’t able to get the support you need for any other reason, get in touch with our Student Advocates.
Extensions
Each school has different criteria for extensions. Your unit outline should explain this process or seek assistance from your Tutor or Lecturer.
Exams
For accurate and up-to-date information about exams, see this UTAS page.
Support for students with disability and/or health issues and/or additional needs
UTAS is an extremely diverse community, and students have all sorts of support needs to help them reach their academic goals.
You can read all about the UTAS supports here.
As always, our Student Advocates are here to help and support you if you need anything at all, so feel free to get in touch.
