The TUSA is a student organisation supported by a small team of staff who are dedicated to the advancement of student rights, and who work side by side with students to mentor them, learn from them, and make a difference together.

TUSA Unique Tassie Experiences (UTE) Guide
TUSA UTE Guide
We are looking for someone enthusiastic and motivated about sharing the experiences that our island home has to offer with the UTAS student community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for lutruwita/Tasmania, including local knowledge of destinations, experiences and products. They will be responsible for coordinating and leading the inspiring Tassie experiences that have been created for the 2023 UTE (Unique Tassie Experiences) program in the south of the state. They will be based in nipaluna/Hobart, with availability for both weekdays and weekends, with hours varying between 6-18 hours per week depending on the UTE calendar.

Student Advocacy & Support Officer (nipaluna/Hobart or kanamaluka/Launceston)
We are currently seeking a part-time Student Advocacy & Support Officer to join our incredible team. The position plays a critical role in the provision of information, advice and advocacy on University of Tasmania and Higher Education issues to students across all UTAS campuses. Our Advocates provide free, independent and confidential advice, support and representation on all matters concerning academic and administrative rights, whilst also assisting students with equity and welfare issues that may be affecting their ability to study. Networking and navigating policy are critical components to the role, but you also have the opportunity to identify and develop strategies to improve students rights and services at UTAS. Be part of something special, in a team that lives its values of being student led, connected, bold, effective and kind!
