For #PinkRibbon day we are hosting a women’s morning tea at 10 am, so please come along to raise funds for game-changing breast cancer research.
We feature two lovely UTAS Alumni as our guest speakers, Talitha Taz Devadass and Emilee Freeman from Futures Isles.
Talitha ‘Taz’ Devadass lives and breathes futures. Her work as one of Australia’s first Entrepreneurship Facilitators has seen her mentor 650 people to support them finding potential pathways for empowered futures. She believes in community development through the sharing of ideas, transfer of skills and relationship-driven collaboration. At her core, Taz is the ideas queen; she dreams audacious dreams because she always believes that there is more for people.
Emilee Freeman loves impact. She has a background as a commercial specialist, providing high-level strategy and training. As Oaktree’s Tasmanian Director, she led political actions (including organising a national road trip of 1000 young socially-minded campaigners) and empowered a branch of 40 young regional volunteers to achieve incredible things. She’s your girl when it comes to implementation; she takes crazy ideas and makes them a reality with style and ease.
Join us. it’s relaxed, fun and homely.
