ISSUE Foundation’s Healthcare in Developing Countries Webinar Series

16 September, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm

Have a hot chocolate with us as we listen to guest speakers who have worked in developing countries to improve healthcare. Over three sessions we will delve into what inspires these leaders to contribute to the sustainable development of healthcare in communities that need it most, with plenty of time for your questions!

We have a raffle to fundraise for our work with healthcare in Uganda. Follow this link to purchase raffle prizes or view our discussion board for details of prizes. We will draw the raffle during our last webinar on the 1st of October.

For our first webinar we have Lachlan Davey, Ben Wood and Eve Taylor. Lachlan and Ben are the founders of the ISSUE Foundation. We are going to discuss their journey to the beginning of the ISSUE Foundation, why the mission of ISSUE is important, and what they are doing currently!

On the other hand, Eve is a current UTAS student who went to visit Uganda herself on the most recent trip. She will be discussing her experience in Uganda and her views on the mission of ISSUE.

Other webinars in this series:

Webinar 2: 23rd September – Justin Dalby; former UTAS student who has worked with NGOs

Webinar 3: 1st October – Zanetta Jodlowska, Michael Young, Sophie Jones & Eliza Walker; 5th year medical students who completed their elective in Samoa during a measles endemic
