How can you support the Food Security Program?

Volunteers make it all happen, so e-mail us at food.hub@tusa.utas.edu.au or fill out the TUSA Volunteering Form with an expression of interest today.

If you are UTAS staff, a Hobart community member or business, WE’RE TAKING DONATIONS!

  • If you’d like to make a food donation, please drop by the Food Hub pantry during opening hours.
  • We’d love monetary donations, big and small! Funds received will help us purchase supplies for our Food Hub.

Is my donation tax deductible?

At this stage all donation towards TUSA’s Food Security Program are not tax deductible. We are working to get our DGR status to make your future donation tax deductible, so watch this space!

How will my donation be used?

Your donation will help us towards providing items to support our Food Hub.

I'm a student, how can I still support the cause?

I'm a community member, how can I support the cause?

If you live in the Greater Hobart area, there are two ways you can support us:

  1. Donate to the cause via our donation page above.
  2. If you have excess harvest or pantry items, you can share them with our students. Please drop by during opening hours or leave your items in our 24/7 Food Hub Cupboard in front of the Ref,  see map here

I'm a business, how can I support the cause?

As a business, there are two ways you can support us:

  1. Donate to the cause via our donation page above.
  2. You can donate your produce, pantry items, and meals by dropping them off during opening hours or leave your items in our 24/7 Food Hub Cupboard in front of the Ref,  see map here

TUSA 2024 Annual General Meeting Notice

This notice is to advise of the upcoming Annual General Meeting of the members of the Tasmanian University Union (TUU), known as the TUSA, on Thursday 20th June 3.30 - 4.30pm via zoom.
